At Mr & Mrs Christmas, some of our most special seasonal pieces are made available for Preorder or Lay-Buy throughout the year. These options allow you to secure your favourites early and plan your celebrations with confidence.

Preorders

What Is a Preorder?

A preorder means you are purchasing an item before it has arrived in stock.

Preorder items are clearly marked on the product page and include an estimated arrival timeframe. By placing a preorder, you are reserving your item in advance and it will be shipped as soon as it arrives with us.

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Each preorder item includes an estimated delivery window.

Please note:

• Delivery timeframes are estimates only
• Delays can occasionally occur due to supplier, shipping or customs factors outside our control
• If there are any significant changes to your preorder timing, we will always keep you updated

If purchasing for a specific occasion, we recommend preordering with these timeframes in mind.

Ordering Preorder & In-Stock Items Together

If your order includes both preorder and in-stock items, your order will be shipped once all items are available.

If you would like in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of placing your preorder. This allows us to reserve stock specifically for you and confirm your place within the preorder allocation.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please choose carefully before placing your preorder.

• All preorders are final and cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded once placed
• This includes change-of-mind cancellations
• In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, a claim will need to be lodged directly with Australia Post, as their policy requires claims to be submitted by the recipient

Lay-Buy Information

What Is Lay-Buy?

Lay-Buy allows you to secure your order now and pay it off over time through automatic instalments via PayPal.

Lay-Buy Terms

• Lay-Buy is available on all orders, no minimum spend required
• A 20% deposit is required to secure your order
• The 20% deposit is non-refundable
• A small once-off admin fee may apply depending on your order value
• There are no interest charges or late fees

How Lay-Buy Works

To place a Lay-Buy order:

• Add your items to cart
• Select Put It On Lay-Buy (via PayPal) at checkout under Alternative Payment Methods
• Choose your preferred repayment timeframe
• Payments will then be automatically scheduled through your linked PayPal account

To avoid failed payments, please ensure:

• Your linked card remains valid for the full Lay-Buy period
• Sufficient funds are available for each scheduled payment

Lay-Buy Dispatch Timeframes

Lay-Buy orders are dispatched once all payments have been completed.

• In-stock items will be shipped once your Lay-Buy has been paid in full
• Preorder items will be shipped once final payment has been received and stock has arrived at our warehouse

Changes & Cancellations

• Once a Lay-Buy order has been placed, items cannot be changed or added to the order
• Preorders placed via Lay-Buy cannot be cancelled
• Orders not completed within the selected payment schedule may be cancelled, with the 20% deposit retained as a cancellation fee
